Netflix apologizes, makes things worse
Back in July, Netflix announced what amounted to a massive price increase when it removed streaming video from its DVD-by-mail service and made it a separate subscription. As we blogged about, fallout was swift and largely negative. Many predicted that customers would drop part or all of the company's services as a result. Those predictions have proved acurate. Netflix reported last week that it now expects to lose 600,000 customers this quarter -- a far cry from the 400,000 it had expected to add instead. On Monday, Netflix CEO Reed Hastings emailed subscribers with an apology of sorts. The missive started: "I messed up. I owe you an explanation." However, the news that followed -- that Netflix would split into two completely separate services, one exclusively DVD by mail, the other exclusively streaming -- didn't exactly make most feel any better about things. In fact the near universal reaction has been "Guess what, Reed, you messed up again."

Resolved Question: Looking for a pot that is flexible for camping/survival?
Hey guys, I'm looking to buy a pot (with lid) that will hopefully take care of all my cooking needs in a camping/survival situation. I would need like the pot to meet the certain criteria:
- Be able to cook over open flames, on conventional stovetops, on coal, etc.
- I want it to be able to cook everything: boil water quickly, bake beans, cook/grill meat, heat up sauces, cook eggs, and all that good stuff.
- Be efficient. I don't want it to take forever to heat up the pot and waste a ton of fuel/resources.
- Around 1 to 2 liter capacity.
- Not too heavy to carry around.
I'm thinking dutch ovens? But I'm afraid they might be too heavy. Or should I just stick with a conventional stainless steel pot?
Help appreciated!
Also, I'd like to add that I want the pot to be DURABLE. I don't want to have to keep replacing worn out pots.

Open Question: I'm going camping and canoeing this weekend, but I'm on my period. Any advice?
So me and a bunch of friends are going camping this weekend, only I'm on my period. The good thing is, we will have a trailer. So I think I'm good but we're also going to be doing some canoeing. I think I'd be fine with a pad but I'm afraid that I'll fall into the water or that my friends will want to play in it. My mom is iffy about me wearing tampons and today she made up the excuse that we don't have the money for them. Even if I offered to pay for them she'd still make up an excuse. But do you think I'd even need them? And how do I deal with my period when we go camping?
