Lately I've been catching myself eyeing baby back ribs at the grocery store. I guess it's time to get the grill out and clean it up. Derrick Riches, About's BBQ guide, has Grilling Tips for all your grilling questions. For example, if you charcoal grill, Derrick has this to say when it comes to lighting charcoal:
"First of all the best way is not to use easy, fast or self lighting charcoal. Depending on your preferences you can use a charcoal chimney, which is best or the old tried and true lighter fluid." ~ DerrickI agree with Derrick, self-lighting charcoals and charcoal lighter fluids can ruin the taste of a good steak. A charcoal chimney gets coals ready just as fast and does not impart any flavors while cooking.
