Open Question: Is there typically enough room in the woods for a big ol' tent?

Is there typically enough room in the woods for a big ol' tent?
I wanna go camping in the woods, not that that campsite BS, but I'm worried I'll get a big tent and have nowhere to set up camp. Is it rare to find a small clearing in the woods just large enough for a big tent and small CONTROLED campfire?
