I normally go camping with just me and my fiance. I usually pack a smallish suitcase and take a couple of pairs of jeans, 2 pairs of shorts and enough t-shirts so I have one per day. I take a small make-up bag, my 2-in-1 hair stuff and body wash, and a hairbrush. I just tie my hair up. This time we are going to a rally with his parents, no proper shower and only portaloos. We are then spending a day with his sister on a picnic before going camping alone. Now, I don't know what to take (his dad is constantly having a go at me for being so 'frivolous' and 'wasteful' so I don't want to take a big suitcase) this means I am going from Friday to Tuseday at the rally, then weds to Sun camping. I also am not sure of the 'proper' etiquette for camping with (awful) inlaws. For example, my fiance and I usually take turns cooking, but his mum (convinced she is a 'fab' chef, but makes everything taste like uncooked mince) will insist on doing everything. We have to share our tent with them for four days....please give me your advice and help...what do I pack? What is the ettiqute in this situation? Thank You.
